A Board of Advisors directs the advocacy mission of the International Association of U.S. Government Contractors. The IA U.S. GC has a formal relationship with the US Chamber of Commerce to direct our Government Advocacy policies. Please see www.uschamber.com for more information.
Helping Hand Foundation
The International Association of U.S. Government Contractors Helping Hand Foundation oversees the donations to needy people around the world. Our current project is to donate a portion of our membership dues and event fees to FUNDAMIRA. In late 2008, devastating floods hit the Mira River Region in Colombia. The U.S. Government does reserve business for U.S. manufacturers and service providers. Who operates IA U.S. GC?
A full-time staff is responsible for the day-to-day operations of IA U.S. GC. Volunteer members serve on advisory boards that oversee several areas of IA U.S. GC operations. Is IA U.S. GC affiliated with a government agency? No. IA U.S. GC is not affiliated with any agency or government program. What is Procurement? Procurement is the process where U. S. Federal Government agencies solicit services and products from private businesses. This type of outsourcing accounts for over $450 billions of dollars each year in government spending.
